Get surprised

There are so many possibilities with new technology . I read week 6 Videos. What did I liked about it was looking at the State Library of Queensland Digital stories. I also Love the idea of Welcome video for new staff. All concept seem quite simple but the outcome looks very good, intelligent and I am pretty sure the outcome on reaching their target audience was accomplished 100%.

So the question is do we need now people in our staff to have It knowledge and the freedom to do lots of interesting and fun projects.
I love to be surprised and I love to have fun.

RSS and Wikis

I have been on a learning trip today, I don't think it is easy so I received lots of help , so I am happy.
What do I know today there is no RSS at the the Community Relations Commission site, so I will call my friends and see if they can develop one to make my job easy. The good thing I have my RSS ready form IFLA website.

Wikis great way of cooperation. today I saw the Readers Advisory wiki , they are doing great proof of good cooperation and support in the library world. I saw one with Libraries procedure , way to go all in one place so everyone can access the procedures.

How can use my Blog?


Well there are a number of issues that I need to discuss with colleagues across the network.

Some issues require lots of thinking and listing questions and this blog could allow everyone to participate and post comments.


We could discuss the future changes of multicultural services to Equity of Access.

Implications, technology, questions and possible solutions.



One of my colleagues and I are about to start writing a paper, so we could do the preliminary discussion on this blog.
